Very enjoyable collection of bits and pieces of Laurie Anderson's work.
A few music videos in the traditional sense, but mostly short surreal comic pieces
displaying her wit and sense of irony, combined with a nimble use of (often distorted)
imagery. Not surprising given how much she uses films and projections in her stage
shows.
Not the very best of her work, but I'll take her at 85% over just about anyone around. And
if you don't know this unique, creative, funny and very influential performance artist
this is a good place to start. Although why it's not out on DVD is beyond me...
