Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

The linguist in me liked the two bilingual pieces, in German and French, although I cringed at the minor mistakes found in both texts. I wonder if the errors found their way into the original show. ("Voices on Tape" omitted umlauts from several words and had some verbal inconsistencies.)
I have a CD of Anderson reading stories, The Ugly One with the Jewels, so I know the sound of her voice and delivery. I could thus "hear" her reading the following piece, "Dog Show":
I dreamed I was a dog in a dog show.
And my father came to the dog show.
And he said: That's a really good dog.
I like that dog.
And then all my friends came and I
was thinking:
No one has ever looked at me like this
for so long.
No one has ever stared at me like this
for so long
for such a long time
for so long.

Gegen den Inhalt des Buches gibt es nichts einzuwenden.
Gegen den Artikelzustand schon.
Das einzig gute an dem gelieferten Buch war, daß die Seiten nicht herausfielen.
Seiten geknickt, teilweise vergilbt, wellig.
Das Buch hatte mehr Ähnlichkeit mit einer alten Schwarte.
Da es aber das einzig erhältliche Exemplar war, habe ich es dennoch behalten.
Nun liegt es eingedrückt in einem Stapel schwerer Bücher..
